You may remember the Grad Cap LED Hack that we had here last year, this Grad Gown LED hack uses a bunch of LEDs that are connected to an audio detection circuit that makes it into a VU meter! It is one of the entries in the Curious Inventor Contest, this is the last day of the contest so hurry to get an entry in.

Winter is upon us, and if you ride your bike to work you may want to think about making your own tire chains. This project doesn't look too hard to make, and I bet they would add a lot of safety to that cold morning commute.

This is an interesting hack of a "voice changer" kit. I really like the sounds so far, and I think know it can be hacked a lot more. It would be cool to stuff this in a project box and add a few more hacking controls.

The Cincinnati Junior Makers group started as a bunch of bike riding fathers with young kids. The group used to go on rides hauling their cherubs around on bike trailers and tagalongs.
