[Johny Lee] sent in his(pdf) awesome projector calibration project. By adding embedding some optical fiber that feed into a set of USB connected light sensors, his groups software can determine the exact pixel position of each sensor.

@The NYC Toy fair 2008 Insect Lore showed off their live butterfly, ladybug, silkworm and other insect kits for education / home use. You don't need to catch the Butterflies, they actually ship live caterpillars.

Cvesey has good how to for Makers across the pond with Zen micros - "Use an old cell phone charger and a usb socket extention cable to make a wall charger (this does not come boxed with the zen micro).
