T-Mobile announces a new BlackBerry phone with the BlackBerry Curve 3G. The new Curve offers 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity for voice and data, access to BlackBerry App World, GPS and visual voicemail.

Today we have video of one of the first HTC Windows Phone 7 handsets. The HTC Schubert has been leaked in a video from 247 Windows Phone. We don't have any rumored specs yet, but we can tell that the smartphone's camera will at least pack a flash.

The Motorola Droid has been doing well for Motorola since the device launched about nine months ago. With all the rumors and sightings of the Droid 2 that have been surfacing and an expected August 12 launch date for the Droid 2 it makes sense that the original would be retired.

The Facebook Android app's major facelift is one of the best changes to come to the platform in a while. Reportedly due to Mark Zuckerberg's switch from iOS to the little green robot, the updated app now allows you to plan events, send messages and more straight from the app itself.

Blackberry messaging service did in fact come to a zero-day halt in Saudi Arabia after months of political pressure and threats to turn it off, but after just four hours of silence, service began working again.

It looks like the Droid X won't be getting Android 2. 2 quite as early as we had expected. Instead of launching around, well, now the update won't be coming until early September according to this post on the Moto support forums.

The last word we heard on the Epic 4G was that it would have an August launch date. This rumor seems to be confirmed by news from Unwired View that insiders claim the expected release day as August 11.

Using the proprietary Facebook app on Android has been as useful as pulling out a child's tooth without using Novocaine. It was simply easier to just go to the Web browser app and go to Facebook.
