NEC just updated its VersaPro line-up with the Type VE Series (available in BTO), our 15.1” notebook feature a 1280x800 LCD resolution, a Core 2 Duo T7250 at 2GHz, 80GB of HDD, 1GB or RAM on its very basic version, but also received an “Eco Button” which will in fact decrease by 20% your energy consumption by lowering the CPU speed and the brightness of your screen... Well far for being as “Green” as Greenpeace would have expected but nice to be able to save some battery lifespan.
