Stix the Wiimote clone is for your PC

Stix has a serious a Wiimote hangover. It is a series of wireless, motion sensing, touch-screen gaming controllers for the PC and Internet that lets players interact with online games as well as regular PC games with the Games For Windows badge. It's being outted by GoLive2, the independent gaming division of Playhut, Inc. Brian Zheng, President, Playhut, commented: "Stix will completely change the way people experience online and PC gaming. At purchase, Stix will be compatible with thousands of free online and retail games, and we're adding more games to that list daily. The fun is endless with Stix, and the wide-range of free, supported games makes this product perfect for every member of the family."

Expect the Stix 200 and 400 controllers to arrive in August. Stix 200 caters for casual gamers with support for online and 2D games, and the Stix 400 will allow gamers to skip the mouse and keyboard for PC games. No price or list of Games For Windows titles supported is out as yet. Apparently Stix is suitable for kids aged 6 and above.
