Barco Uses DP-1200 Projector at Berlinale Talent Campus

Barco is a global leader in digital cinema projection technology. Recently they announced that they will be using their DP-1200 projector for the Campus Studio 2009 at Berlinale Talent Campus, which is part of the Berlin International Film Festival. The Berlinale Talent Campus bringing upcoming filmmakers from around the world for a six day event that composes expert lectures, seminars and workshops, and gives the filmmakers the opportunity to create international networks early in their careers. The workshops will have Barco’s help as they provide DP-1200 projectors in each of the rooms. “We are proud to support young filmmakers and students in their quest for superior image quality,” says Wim Buyens, VP Barco Digital Cinema. “As a leading supplier of digital cinema projection technology, we embrace this opportunity to showcase our DP-1200, the latest addition to our unique family of digital cinema projectors.” The DP-1200 uses 3-chip DLP display technology that projects some of the highest quality images available. The projector also features a 2K HD (20480 x 1080) resolution and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Built for large venues, the DP-1200 comes with two DVI inputs as well as two SMPTE 292M ports.
