Back in March, Black Box released their Wireless Video Presentation System that allowed projectors to be able to receive content through a wireless connection. Today, the company is releasing the second generation, the Wireless Video Presentation System II. This device weighs only 1 lb and is small enough to be tucked away someplace out of sight. It allows the user to connect their electronics to the box instead of having the run long, expensive cords to the projector. The new system is able to support up to WXGA (1280 x 7680) resolution and can support many video formats including MPEG, DivX, Xvid, and WMV 9. In addition, the system can also handle multiple uses and can handle up to 254 users simultaneously. The range is also impressive at up to 300 feet away. The Wireless Video Presentation System II is available through Black Box and retails for just under $450.
