Designs Projected onto the Washington National Cathedral

Projector artist Gerry Hofstetter has been using projectors to illuminate buildings for over seven years, during this time he has projected onto buildings, monuments, and mountains. Now, he will use 6,000-watt projectors to put images onto the Washington National Cathedral at Massachusetts and Wisconsin avenues. This event is called “Lighting to Unite,” it will take place from dusk to midnight on May 9, 10, and 11. There will be a test run on May 8.
