InFocus IN1503 Projector Review

The InFocus IN1503 is one of their newest portable data projectors. This model features WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, 3000 ANSI lumens, and an 1800:1 contrast ratio. Recently, the writers from PC Advisors got the opportunity to review this device. One of the first compliments the IN1503 received involved its brightness. The writers were very happy to see that this projector could display quality images in both dark and bright rooms. The projector is very box-like in its design, but the writers did mention that the black finish and other details really made the IN1503 look elegant for a box. Another good aspect the writers mentioned was the short throw lens. This allows the projector to project up to a 300 inch display from only 11.5 feet away. This makes the IN1503 ideal for small business rooms or any location that requires a tight fit. The final verdict that the writers made was, “The InFocus IN1503 business projector is a versatile performer that can be used for off-site business presentations or casual movie watching. If possible we’d recommend dialing down the brightness to reduce fan noise, but apart from this small flaw it is a competent all-round projector.”
