Recently, Mitsubishi introduced the XD211U Projector, which is a native XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution projector that uses DLP technology and the new DDP 2230 DMD chip with BrilliantColor. This projector has a form factor that weighs around 6 pounds and has an efficient lamp that lasts up to 3000 hours including 2,200 Lumens of brightness. According to Wayne Kozuki, product manager, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division, “We consider our XD211U an entry-level projector with high-level specifications,” he adds, “The combination of features and high brightness makes this projector perfect for office and school environments.” The retail price of this projector is around $1595.
