NEC Releases NP610 Projector

NEC is a leading stand-alone provider of commercial LCD displays and projectors. Today, the company is releasing their latest entry-level installation projector, the NP610. This model features a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, 500:1 contrast ratio, and 3500 ANSI lumens. The added brightness allows the projector to display in almost any environment, which makes it ideal for classrooms and boardrooms. NEC has also included a simple but diverse connection panel including, a RGB port, DVI, composite, and several audio ports as well. There is also an Ethernet LAN connection for network capabilities and a 7 watt speaker system that is loud enough to fill any room with sound. “The NP610 is an ideal entry-level installation projector that offers all the features our customers need to succeed in connecting with their audience,” said Rich McPherson, Product Manager for projectors at NEC Display Solutions. “From increased brightness and color-enhancing technologies to environmentally-favorable specifications, this projector meets the standard criteria required for integration projectors.” The NP610 is currently available through NEC’s website and retails for only $1499.
