In the never ending quest to find reasons for interactive tables, a group of developers from New York have developed an artistic way to separate your morning the news. The Infractor turns all the news articles from the New York Times into a light stream with tiny fireflies resembling all the individual articles. If you want to filter the articles, you simply place a specific prism into the light path and two more will be created. By using a jog wheel the user can adjust the sensitivity of the filter or change the filter entirely. The user can then use different tile to select the articles they want to read. The program is very serene looking I dont know if this is the best way to read your morning news.
