Last week Planar released their new projector line for the summer. Five new models were designed to fit a variety of needs. The PR2010 and PR2020 both feature 2300 ANSI lumens and a 1700:1 contrast ratio. The PR2010 provides SVGA (800 x 600) resolution and the PR2020 displays XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Both models are light weight and compact for traveling. The PR5030 was designed for large conference rooms. It features wide screen WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, a higher 2000:1 contrast ratio, and 2300 ANSI lumens. The PR5030 also comes with networking connections allowing you to have multiple laptops connected to it. Lastly for those who want a good entry level projector, Planar has also designed the PR9020 and PR9030. These two models feature 3LCD display technology and four 4watt speakers. They also have 4000 ANSI lumens and an HDMI connection. The PR9020 has a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and the PR9030 comes with WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution.
