Recently, it was announced that mini-projectors from 3M are going to be used with Samsung devices, which will be a first for these types of components in hopes of transforming the industry of digital devices. With the new technology, mini-projectors will be able to take an image from a cell phone, laptop, or storage and project it onto a flat surface. “We’re going to roll this out to commercialize and expand” states CEO George Buckley. Due to the rising interest in mini-projectors embedded in cell phones, mobile projectors are more than likely on their way to the industry. The price of the mini-projector from 3M is expected to be in the $200 to $400 range.
