Sony Announces SRX-T105 and SRX-T110 4K Resolution Projectors

Sony has recently released their biggest projectors to date. The SRX-T105 and SRX-T110 projectors will be the newest additions to join Sony’s Digital Cinema Series. Both projectors feature three SXRD display panels that generate a 4K 4069 x 2160 resolution. That is over 8.85 million pixels of resolution, 4 times the amount full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution can provide. Both projectors also feature a 2500 contrast ratio and dual Xenon lamps. The major difference between the two projectors is the brightness levels. The T105 is able to display 5500 ANSI lumens, and the T110 is able to display 11000 ANSI lumens. Both projectors have a LKRI-005 connection as well as the option to add up to three more input slots. The three optional slots are chosen by the customer. The T105 and T110 are also some of the heaviest projectors around, weighing over 264 lbs each. The T105 is expected to retail for ?8.3 million ($78,725), and the T105 will retail for ?12.7 million ($120,460). Both models are also expected to be released in November.
