Here in the western hemisphere Navman may not be one of the most known names in GPS navigation systems but in Australia they seem to be doing just fine; specially with their S series. One of those is the Navman S50. Navman S50 is one of the higher end devices in these series and include features such as bluetooth for hands free calling, and NavPix which lets you navigate to pictures (however Navman S50 does not include a digital camera on the back to let you take these pictures).
It has a SiRF Star III GPS receiver and a screen with 480×272 resolution which measures 4.3 inches. Navman S50 does support real time traffic updates however you’ll have to purchase the special cradle for this. It also comes with preloaded safety camera data as a free trial.
Navman used TeleAtlas from the final quarter of 2007 for this model and a 256MB internal memory for map data. It costs about 249 AUD which is about 205 USD.
