Well well, it looks like some tigers do change their stripes. A recent series of leaked photos (via Engadget) has the tech world thinking that a Lenovo ThinkPad netbook might be in the offing.

The Windows 7 launch was bound to do good things for PC sales. Vista was awful and Win 7 has been lauded by reviewers as the best new Microsoft OS since XP.

Am I the only one that thinks we have too many categories of notebook these days? It's getting to the point where it's hard to tell just what should be called what.

For the last year and change, Intel's Atom processors have basically been the first and last word in ultraportable CPUs. Today, VIA changes that with the launch of their new Nano 3000 series of processors (via Engadget).

There is some information about the OLPC project of Nicholas Negroponte. Apparently the 2nd generation OLPC XO laptop will be only a hardware upgrade of the current model and OLPC focuses on a completely new design for the 3rd generation which is supposed to hit the market in 2012.
