Photos of the Intel Atom based Asus Eee PC 901 have appeared on a site called Blogeee. It is down as I write this story, but Jkkmobile published all their photos of the Asus 901.
If the photos are real then Asus actually updated the design of the Intel Atom based Asus Eee. The most dramatic change is on the hinge. It now looks more massive and is moved inwards.
I own an Asus Eee PC 8G and already planned on skipping the Asus Eee PC 900 that is shipping now and wait for the Intel Atom based Asus Eee. It is supposed to ship next month, if the initial reports come true.
