
Hewlett-Packard has launched the HP Pavilion dv3500t, the company’s first 13.3-inch notebook for the US market.
The 4.12-pound HP Pavilion dv3500t features the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS 512MB video card, up to 8GB of DDR2 system memory, up to 400GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner. Its display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and optional LED backlight.
Other features of this consumer oriented laptop include a built-in web camera and fingerprint reader, a full size backlit keyboard, 802.11n wireless, Ethernet LAN, and 56K modem connections, optional Bluetooth, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB ports (3rd shared with eSATA port), an ExpressCard slot, and 5-in-1 media card reader.
The notebook has a new “liquid metallic” bronze finish and runs Windows Vista operating system.
The HP Pavilion dv3500t starts at $999.99.
