The Japanese computer maker Kohjinsha, who is known for its small UMPCs, has unveiled two mini laptop series -- the GPS-equipped SC3 (pictured) and SX3. The first one is a small, lightweight 7-inch notebook computer powered by an Intel Atom Z520 (1.33GHz) processor. The laptop is based on Intel's US15W chipset and boast of built-in GPS. According to the company, its the world's first mobile PC to feature GPS. Other features include 7-inch swivel touch-screen display (1024x600 resolution), 1GB memory, 60GB HDD, 802.11b/g wireless, 3-in-1 card reader, and Windows Vista Home Premium. It offers 2-cell lithium ion battery, providing 3.2 hours of battery life. But if you are still not satisfied then you can go for optional 4-cell battery, providing 6.4 hours of battery juice.

On the other hand its elder sibling SX3 offers 8.9-inch touch-sensitive display (1280x768 resolution), webcam, and integrated DVD burner. Other features remain same.

The SC3 ($831) and SX3 ($1,007) will be available from July.
