Lenovo’s first netbook - the IdeaPad S10-42312CU model - is now available for purchase.
The 2.65-pound IdeaPad S10 features a 10.2-inch 1024×600 widescreen display with LED baclight, the Intel Atom N270 single core processor at 1.6GHz, GMA 950 integrated graphics, and Windows XP Home operating system.
The S10-42312CU model has 512MB of DDR memory, an 80GB hard drive, and white chassis. Lenovo is expected to launch models with 1GB of RAM and 160GB HDDs, as well as units in different colors.
Lenvo’s S10 netbooks also include a 3-cell battery, built-in web camera, WiFi connection, two USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, and 4-in-1 media card reader. Its keyboard is 85 percent of the size of a full-sized laptop keyboard.
The Ideapad S10-42312CU costs $439.00.
