Sony is expected to release soon the VAIO M netbook, featuring a 10.1-inch display and the Intel Atom processor.
The UK-based retailer Tesco lists the Sony VPC-M11M1E which will be available “from end March 2010.” Besides the Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, the offered 2.9-pound netbook includes a 250GB hard drive and Windows 7 Starter OS.
Other reports say the VAIO M also features 1GB of RAM, 1024 x 600 display resolution, a built-in web camera, 802.11n WiFi, and Bluetooth.
The VAIO M has a ?299 (around $453) price tag at Tesco.
