TEKXON DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES LTD[HK] is actually saying the MX550 PMP is a 12 megapixel digicam with PMP functionality added but the fine print says it only has a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor onboard.

Something's really wrong with the world if more than a few months pass by without a new iPod alarm clock from iLuv, so we suppose everyone's a-okay for a few more months now.

The Chinese company Tsinghua Tongfang has announced a new PMP that supports TV out at 720 ? 576-pixel resolution. This is very good quality TV out resolution for a PMP.

Tsinghua Tongfang has managed to produce at least one mildly interesting MP4 PMP in the past, so we're not too surprised at the company's new PMC-M880, which features semi-high-def video out at 720 X 576 resolution in addition to the usual array of MP4 features.

For Newman, it wasn't enough to knock off an iPod nano from years past. Oh no, it had to replace Apple's iconic click-wheel with a prominent "N" on its MOMO-X2, just so it's absolutely clear what PMP is being aped.

Imagine an apple-shaped iPod clickwheel or a Z-shaped pad for Zorro… er, Zune. Newman, I believe, has the right idea, shaping the control buttons of the MOMO-X2 into a big bold capital letter N.

Need more unsubstantiated evidence that the 3G iPhone is near. Good, the Chinese language Commercial Times is quoting sources claiming that Foxconn (aka, Han Hai) -- the maker of the 1st gen iphone -- is ramping up 3G iPhone assembly by "the end of May" to ship 3 million units in June.
