Build a Tape Linearizer and a Distortion Analyzer

No sane recording engineer would ever add distortion to a program intentionally - unless, of course, the goal was to increase headroom and lower tape distortion. Not talking about a new type of sonic exciter, but a well-known and accepted method to counteract the onset of saturation in analog recording tape.
