System designers often find themselves battling power supply hum, noise, transients, and various perturbations wreaking havoc with low noise amplifiers, oscillators, and other sensitive devices. Many voltage regulators have excessive levels of output noise including voltage spikes from switching circuits and high flicker noise levels from unfiltered references.
This is a circuit which has been in the past a production item, so is tried and tested. 4QD could therefore produce them, provided the quantity is reasonable. Since artwork has been prepared once, we could produce a quantity as small as 25-50.
Low Distortion, Amplitude Stable
This is a very cool VCO it puts out sine, triangle, ramp, and pulse waveforms and tracks 1 volt/octave over about 8 octaves or so quite nicely even though it is not temperature compensated.
