24 W HVDCP Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible High Efficiency Adaptor

This document is an engineering report describing an adapter power supply utilizing a TOPSwitch-JX TOP268VG. This power supply is intended as a general purpose evaluation platform for ChiPhy family. This adapter designed with CHY100D operates from universal input and provides selectable output voltages (i.e. 5 V, 9 V, and 12 V) with a maximum constant current of 2 A. The TOPSwitch-JX, by design, maintains virtually constant efficiency across a very wide load range without using special operating modes to meet specific load thresholds.
