The S12ZDBG module includes debugging features that were not available on S12/S12X predecessors. This application note provides guidelines for using these module features. This document describes the superset of debugging features offered by S12ZDBG V2 and V4, henceforth referred to as DBG module. The S12ZDBG V3 (Debug Lite) includes a limited subset of the features that are not described in this document.
