BRIEF DESCRIPTION

It is a full wireless audio / video sender and receiver system working in the 1240-1300MHz 23cm amateur frequency (SHF) band. It can send broadcast quality picture and sound, at maximum 1km line-of-sight distance.

The sender is fully digital PLL synthesizer controlled for super frequency stability. A PCB type antenna with 3.5dBd gain is in-built within the cabinet. This made the system very handy for portable use. And there is no loss in the cable so all the power generated in the transmitter, is radiated.

The receiver uses a readymade L-band tuner for better performance. This tuner has an IF of 479.6MHz standard. Audio and Video output is available through standard RCA jacks

The receiver is bundled with a PCB type outdoor LNA antenna. It has to be connected to the receiver with CATV type co-axial wire with normal F type connector fitted to both ends. The LNA antenna needs to be erected on top of a mast directing towards the sender.

The sender has to be aligned with the receiving LNA antenna. It needs to be erected on top a mast directing towards receiver’s receiving antenna. It radiates maximum at a single direction (shown on top of cabinet).

Both the sender and receiver works a single direction. So proper alignment is required for maximum range.

Now connect 12v dc to the sender and run audio/video cable from source like video camera, to its input. Corresponding radio signal is now radiated towards the receiver. There should be minimum obstruction in the path.

Up to 1 kilometer or more range is available from this system alone if you are using complete line-of-sight installation without any obstruction between transmitter and receiver antenna, and they are aligned properly. But generally 500m range is easily achievable.

For CATV/CCTV transmission, you can directly connect your camera A/V output to the sender. You will get same A/V output from your receiver, which can then be sent through your CATV/CCTV network to the subscribers.
