6) Vulnerability will be reduced

“Instead of keeping all your gold in one locker”, the multi-cloud functionality helps to reduce many issues that can be vulnerable to your data. Such issues include bandwidth limits, lock-in of vendor accounts, unavailability of the data centers from cloud partners, etc. After all, you cannot trust a cloud storage service that is going offline too frequently and offers a limited data storing capability to its customers. As a result, such cloud provider loses the trust of the users and ends with losing the customers as well. All these can be prevented using multi-cloud services and that too helps in reducing the prices and business disagreements.

Though many cloud storage service providers offer their clients to move various applications on their platforms from one cloud to another, it’s not quite easy to do so. The transfer of files and data sharing between multi-clouds is too challenging because it affects the business of particular cloud services in a cost-sensitive manner.

7) Private clouds will be less popular than public clouds

As per the survey by the RightScale in 2015, over 94% of total organizations contacted, replied that they are experiencing the cloud data services. Above 87% of them were using public cloud services and above 55% were using public and private clouds both.

Not only this, but that survey also suggested that workloads of the public cloud will grow in surge than the private cloud. One of the main reasons of the popularity of the public cloud is, it helps the organizations to allow different employees storing the company data on the same cloud without affecting the input from other employees of the company. That means the administrator can access all the employees’ data at one place without any hassle or time-waste.
