In an another effort, German computer scientists have created an application and a self-constructed car called ‘Spirit of Berlin’. Here, the remote driver, sitting in a static location sees what is in front of the car via a transceiver fitted inside the car. This transceiver sends control signal back to the car from driver thus manoeuvring the car smoothly. They have tested it successfully at Berlin Tempelhof airport.
