ElectronicsInfoline participates in affiliate programmes and displays advertising. This page discloses these relationships in accordance with FTC guidelines (USA), ASA rules (UK), and applicable Indian advertising standards.

Affiliate Links

Many articles on EIL contain affiliate links to component suppliers including DigiKey, Mouser Electronics, Amazon, AliExpress, Robu.in, and Evelta. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, EIL may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate links are identified by the HTML rel="sponsored" attribute and are disclosed with the note: "Affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you." This appears near every price/component table containing affiliate links.

Amazon.in and Amazon.com (Amazon Associates)

Some calculator, part and project pages carry a short box of parts and tools on Amazon.in. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy through one of those links, Amazon pays us a small fee and your price stays the same. We mark each of those links rel="sponsored". We pick every item for the job that page covers and note its rating on the day we checked it. We don't show prices, because they change often and the one on Amazon is the one you pay.

The Will It Work? pages carry Amazon search links for the kind of product a checker points to. Visitors in India get Amazon.in links; everyone else gets Amazon.com links, also through the Amazon Associates programme, and each box has a link to switch store. The links run searches: we have not picked the products, and the boxes show no prices.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial content is independent of advertising and affiliate relationships. We do not accept payment for positive reviews or editorial endorsements. Affiliate relationships do not influence which components or products we recommend in our guides.

Historical Relationship

EIL was one of the original Google AdSense programme participants (2000s). EIL has a historical CPM advertising relationship with GlobalSpec, through which DigiKey, Mouser, TI, and TDK advertisements were served. These relationships are disclosed here for full transparency.
