Reporting an error

If a number, formula or claim anywhere on this site looks wrong, we want to know — that has been the editorial policy since 2000. Include the page URL and the value you believe is wrong; if you can say what you expected instead, even better. Every computed value in our lessons is machine-verified before publish, so a confirmed error is rare, taken seriously, and fixed at the source. The editorial and corrections policy says what happens after you write.

Write to the same address with the subject "Advertising". Note that editorial content is not for sale: our guides carry no paid placements, and our advertiser disclosure explains how the two are kept apart.
